Did you all see YG’s new trainee, CHANYA from Next Monster? 🎉 I heard many of our StarBank Daeppang students were super excited and checked out her introduction today. She might look young and shy right now, but I feel like she’s definitely the next global K-pop star—following in the footsteps of Lisa, Pharita, and Chiquita! ✨
Did you know that CHANYA is from Thailand? 🇹🇭 Right now, our fastest-growing group of students at StarBank Daeppang is also from Thailand. I’m already excited—maybe the next CHANYA could come from our academy!
Some of you are worried that CHANYA is only 14, and you feel like you’re older and maybe missed your chance. 🤔 But you don’t need to worry! Remember, all of BLACKPINK’s members debuted when they were already adults. Age is just a number—what really matters is your skill and having a strong mindset. 💪 That’s how you build a long-lasting career as a K-pop star.
One great thing about CHANYA is that she can speak not only Thai but also English and Korean. 🌍 At StarBank Daeppang, we also thought about this a lot. All our classes are mainly in English, and for our many students from Thailand 🇹🇭, Japan 🇯🇵, and Indonesia 🇮🇩, we’re currently working on completing subtitles in your languages. But remember: to succeed as a global K-pop idol, being fluent in English and Korean is essential. So starting now, try practicing by reading our English blog and community posts. Taking classes in English will help too! And most importantly, work hard on your Korean skills so that when you come to Korea, everything will feel easier for you. 🇰🇷✨
Besides Thailand, we have lots of students from Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and India too! 🇯🇵🇮🇩🇲🇾🇮🇳 Many of you initially find Korean hard, but if you keep practicing, soon you’ll speak as fluently as Lisa or Sakura! Trust the process—it really works.
From watching CHANYA, it’s clear her basics are super strong. Now it’s our turn! Let’s all work extra hard on our basics, open up our own era, and chase our dreams together! 🌟 And a big, warm welcome to all our new students who joined in June! 🎈 We promise to keep creating better lessons, giving you the best content at the most affordable price.
