Are there any K-pop auditions being held in India?
Yes, there are K-pop auditions held in India! The Korean Cultural Centre India organizes the annual "All India K-POP Contest," which is a popular platform for aspiring K-pop artists. Here's the process for 2024:
First Round (Online): This will take place from May 17 to June 21, 2024, where participants are judged on skills such as stage presence, pronunciation, and similarity to original performances.
Regional Preliminaries: Held in 11 regions across India from July 27 to September 1, 2024.
Semi-Finals and Finals: The semi-finals will be in Mumbai on October 19, while the finals will be held in New Delhi on November 23, 2024.
Finalists get the chance to visit South Korea, and additional events like "K-POP On Street" are also planned to engage fans locally
This contest provides an excellent opportunity for fans and aspiring artists who cannot travel to Korea. You can keep an eye on announcements from the Korean Cultural Centre India for details about how to participate.
