Diet and Body Image Pressure
Hi! I have a question about health and body image.
I know K-pop idols often have to manage their weight and appearance very strictly.
But sometimes it’s hard to know what’s healthy and what’s too much.
How do trainees stay fit without hurting their health or confidence?
If anyone has advice or stories, I’d love to hear them.
Many K-pop trainees feel pressure to look a certain way, but it’s important to stay healthy both physically and mentally. Instead of skipping meals, many trainees try to eat balanced meals with enough protein, vegetables, and good carbs. They often eat small portions more often rather than starving themselves. Daily dance practice is already great exercise, and some also do pilates or light workouts. Getting enough sleep is also really important to stay strong and energetic. Extreme diets—like only eating one food or not eating at all—can be very harmful. More and more idols now say that taking care of their health and loving their own body is the best way to feel confident on stage. Looking healthy and feeling happy is more beautiful than just being skinny.👍
