Hi! I’m a foreign student, and I dream of becoming a K-pop idol one day.
I’m really interested in auditioning for HYBE, but I couldn’t find clear information about the upcoming audition schedule.
Are there any open auditions happening soon, either online or in-person?
Also, do I need to prepare anything specific for the HYBE audition, like singing and dancing, or just one of them?
I would really appreciate any details you could share about how and when to apply. Thank you so much!

Hi! I'm learning Korean, and I have a question about the pronunciation of "의."
Sometimes I hear people say it like "ui," but other times it sounds more like "e" or even "i."
For example, in the word "의자" (chair), it sounds different depending on who says it.
Is there a rule for when "의" should sound like "ui" or "e"?
I'm a little confused because I want my pronunciation to sound natural!

I really want to become a K-pop idol, but I’m not sure how to introduce myself properly.
When I think about auditions or meeting new people in the industry, I feel a little lost about what to say.
I want to show my true personality and passion, but I also wonder if there’s a right way to introduce myself — something that sounds confident, natural, and memorable.
Another thing I worry about is whether I should introduce myself in Korean or in English.
I want to show respect by speaking Korean, but I also want to express myself clearly and naturally in English.
Sometimes I get nervous just thinking about it.
I know introductions are important because it’s the first impression, and I really want to do it well.
I’m practicing, but it’s not easy to find the right words.
I hope with more practice and experience, I’ll be able to introduce myself proudly one day.

I really admire NewJeans—their style, their energy, and how natural they are on stage. Watching them makes me want to become an idol even more, but sometimes I wonder if I could ever shine like that too.
They always look confident, but I’m sure they went through hard times as trainees.
I keep thinking about what it takes behind the scenes—the pressure, the training, and how they stay strong.
It makes me want to work harder, but I also wish I knew more about what the journey is really like.
I’m nervous, but also excited… maybe one day I’ll stand on a stage like they do, and inspire someone else too.

Hi! I’m from India, and I’ve always loved how colorful and expressive our culture is—especially through music and dance.
In India, we grow up surrounded by Bollywood, traditional rhythms, and big festivals full of energy.
But when I discovered K-pop, I was amazed by how passionate and precise everything was—the performances, the storytelling, the teamwork.
I think both Indian and Korean cultures value emotion and connection, and that’s what makes me feel close to K-pop.
I want to become an idol not just to perform, but to connect people from different cultures—like India and Korea—through music.
I know it’s a big dream, but I’m working hard every day and I hope I can share my voice with the world one day.

How old do I have to be to start?
Can I send a video audition, or do I have to go to Korea?
What should I wear in my video?
I want to make a good first impression!

Lately, I’ve been really curious about Korea—not just because of K-pop, but also the culture, food, and daily life.
I want to visit someday, or maybe even live there if I become a trainee!
I also started learning Korean recently, and it’s so fun but also a little difficult.
Does anyone have tips for learning Korean faster? Or fun ways to practice every day?
I really want to understand the lyrics and talk to people in Korean one day.
Thank you, and I’m so happy to be part of this community!

I really appreciate everyone who took the time to reply to my questions.
Your advice gave me more confidence and helped me feel less alone in this journey.
It means a lot to know that there are people who support and understand.
I’ll keep working hard and won’t give up on my dream. Thank you again!😍

I practice dancing and singing every day, and I’m learning Korean too.
But sometimes I wonder—do Korean companies accept trainees from India?
I’m planning to audition online, but I’m not sure which song or dance to choose.
If anyone has experience or advice, I’d really appreciate it!

I’m from Brazil, and sometimes I wonder if K-pop companies are open to foreign trainees.
Do they treat non-Korean trainees differently? Do we get the same chances to debut?
I’m learning Korean as much as I can, but I’m worried about fitting in.
I don’t want to give up just because I was born in another country.
Are there successful idols who started just like me?
